Hello

I wanted to let you know that I will not be back to posting pictures for the next few days. My wisdom teeth were removed a few days ago and I've been stuck in bed since. Needless to say I haven't taken any pictures. I will be back once I feel back to myself (right now my face looks like a chipmunk) which should be pretty soon.

It has happened. I missed two days of taking pictures. Que horror! I am trying to get back on track so here is my picture for today. Before I show it to you I would like to show you a video I was shown in my Bio class. This video was made by a Harvard professor and his students. It is not actual footage but it is computer generated of actual events. The images shown are cellular processes. They happen in the cells of our body, how cool! My favorite part is the motor protein (1:16). It is carrying around a vacuole and I am just so amazed by it. At 1:09 is the building of a microtubule and at 1:13 is the degradation of a microtubule. God has created us as such amazing beings. Enough of my talk here is the video.

Home Again

After visiting my grandfather, my Dad is back home. Yippee!

Funky Angle

I took this picture and decided that I like it best when it is flipped this way. It is a different angle but I like it. For everyone who read my post on Tuesday I want to let you know that my grandfather is on his road to recovery. He is up and walking and is starting to look like his old self again. He is hoping to head home soon. Thank you for keeping him in your prayers!

The World

Even though this is only a picture of the World,it still reminds and amazes me all the wonderful things God has created.

Books

I couldn't think of one thing that summed up today so I chose to photograph books. I love how books can give you new insight and a new perspective on life. My favorite books are Mister God This is Anna by Fynn, Nobody Loves Me by O.F. Walton, and Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris.

Keeping It Cheerful

How far would my little brother go to satisfy a sweet craving? Pretty far. He decided to grab out the fluff and mix it by hand with marshmallows. On a sadder note my grandfather had triple bypass open heart surgery today. Please keep him in your prayers.

Puddle

What my look like a nice puddle is actually my backyard. It has been engulfed by a puddle. I just hope it freezes over so it can be used for ice skating.

Sleep Out

Having a sleep out with my siblings which basically means we all camp out on the couch for the night. What you see above is a picture of my spot on the couch.

Fun Fruit

What makes fruit more fun than fruit popsicles? Plus it was even better to have it after a Wendy's burger.

These hands have the potential to change the world.

Eyes

Put your God eyes on.
I don't remember where I heard this but it has stuck with me. I never really grasped the meaning of it but I think I'm starting to. Put on your God eyes and see the things He sees: see the pain of the boy crying from the harsh words he hears, see the friendliness of strangers, recognize the good and respond to the needs. See what He sees and Your life will be changed, just by putting on your God eyes.

On Hold

Our snow boots are on hold while we wait to see if another storm arrives.

Our family warms up by the fire while watching American Idol, what a wonderful time!

Happy New Year

Happy 2010 to everyone! I hope this year will bring you many blessings and happy memories. This year I want to try making a picture journal. In order to make one you take a picture each day and eventually they will create a journal. I hope to keep it up for the whole year but we will see how it goes.
