Magical Music

I thought that I would post my favorite music. Most the music I like I hear off of this really great Christian radio station called Air 1. Where I live it is only available through online streaming but if you would like to listen to it or find your local station you can visit them at . Besides that I love this song by Capital Lights named His Favorite Christmas Story. I just love it, it is a touching song. I also am a fan of Chasen, a relatively unknown band. Dance Dilema

I came up with these with my brother when attempting to get him to join a dance off. Here they are!
Signs that you should not go to public dances
1.) You only want to go because of the food
2.) The only dance you know is the robot or even worse...the tin man
3.) You would consider bringing your own lunch/dinner and sitting on the floor to eat it just because you want to watch people make a fool of themselves
4.) If your version of dancing is bobbing your head like a chicken while your other parts stay still (I actually saw a person doing this...how terrible)

Hi everyone! As you have seen, I do not update this blog often. As an effort to try and post more (maybe once a week) I am changing the focus of this blog. It is now going to be about life. That is a broad topic and allows me to post on basically whatever pops into my mind. I hope that it will work out!

Finicky Files

Ahhh those files that you know are on your computer but you just can not seem to find them. As long as you know when the files name, date edited or size you will be able to find it. In order to do so you need to go to Start and then My Documents. In XP a search button will be at the top of the My Documents window. Once clicked the search section will be brought up in the side of the My Documents window. From there you can type in whatever you want in order to find the file. In Vista once the My Documents window is opened the search bar will be at the top an from there you can type in whatever you want in order to find the file. If that does not work there is the advanced tab (at the bottom of the search column in XP and after a search in Vista) which will make your search more accurate. This will get those pesky files out of hiding.

Disk Drive Dilema

Have you ever had trouble opening you computers' disk drive? Has it ever been stuck and just won't open no matter how many times you press the button? It is very frustrating but can be fixed. First you should navigate to My Computer by pressing Start (the windows button) then Computer. Once you are there right click the disk drive (drive D) and click Eject. The disk drive should open but if it does not there is another solution that will almost always work. There is a small hole the size of the end of a paper clip on the disk drive. All you have to do is straighten out a paper clip and press the end of it into the small hole. Whoola the disk drive will open and you will be all ready to start listening to your CD's again!

A Happy Hello

Hi everyone this is my first post. I am excited to start my new blog, Little Bits and Bytes. It is going to be a blog about computers writtten in everyday english. My posts will consist of problems commonly faced with computers and how to fix them. I have experience with Windows98, XP, and Vista. I am here to make the world of computers a little easier for all.
